This course deals with one of the levels of linguistic analysis, which is the “phonological level,” through which the student studies the concept of phonology, its relationship with other sciences, the terms used in phonological analysis such as “phoneme,” the branches of phonetics, the scope of each of these branches and its function, and after completing The theoretical part of the course moves the student to the practical application stage of speech phonology (anatomy of speech organs), physical phonology (physical analysis of sounds), auditory, and experimental until the student has the theoretical and practical ability to research, analyze, address problems, and develop in the field of science of sounds.
Intended learning outcomes
By the end of the 14th week, the student should be able to:
