The fifth level of the grammar course deals with an introduction to the emergence of modern linguistics and its history in the Arab heritage and some modern theories such as: the sentence in the light of traditional linguistics, the sentence in the light of modern linguistics, sentence analysis in the light of transformational theory, sentence analysis in the light of structural theory, structural analysis of the text.
Intended learning outcomes
By the end of the 14th week, the student should be able to:
Knowing the difference between traditional grammar and modern linguistics, and the most important branch is the analysis of sentences according to modern linguistic theories such as: structural and transformational theory.
