University of Tripoli Advances in the Times Higher Education World Rankings 2026
The University of Tripoli has made a significant advancement in the 2026 Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, being placed in the 1201–1500 cohort globally.
Additionally, the university has for the first time been included in the QS World University Rankings, securing a position among over 1,500 universities worldwide.
This progress reflects ongoing efforts by the university to enhance its academic and research outputs, strengthen international partnerships, and improve infrastructure and student/researcher facilities. As Libya’s largest university, it offers a broad range of faculties including sciences, engineering, medicine, arts, education, and more.
