Libyan Plastic Artist (Maatouk Abouroui), and His Exhibition in Granada, Spain

At the Granada Square of Spain, an exhibition of plastic arts, entitled "Out of Text, Memoirs of Peace from Libya to Granada" is being held these days  The exhibition is conducted by the Libyan plastic artist Dr. Matouq Abouroui, a member of the Faculty of Arts and Media at Tripoli University,) during this month of  December 2017. The exhibition was opened on Wednesday 20th December. It will continue up to 31st of January 2018,  under the auspices of the Euro-Arab Foundation for Higher Studies, in Granada, Spain, and in cooperation with the municipality of Granada, and the Embassy of Libya in the Spanish capital Madrid. The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by the mayor of Granada Municipality, the President of the University of Granada, the Cultural Attaché of the Libyan Embassy in Spain, a collection of artists and media professionals, professors and students of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Granada, and many of the interested persons from the Spanish, Arab and Libyan businessmen. The opening ceremony witnessed a group of young artists at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Granada drawing a Mural  under the title (Libya to Peace), and presented  it to the artist (Maatouq Abouroui) and to the Libyan people.

 

The exhibition, located at the center of  Granada, will be open to  the public and to those interested in fine arts for more than a month. It includes about 50 paintings by the artist Maatouq Abouroui. Many of the media facilities paid special attention to this artistic event. The opening of the exhibition was streamed life through the YouTube channel of the Euro-Arab Foundation for Graduate Studies in Granada, Spain.

This art exhibition, is considered another great, masterpieces and personal initiatives by Libyan, in many areas and arenas, at more than one place of the world. The gifted artist (Matouk), and many others Of the great Libyans, is a miracle when we realize the lack of   material resources. This reflects their love to Libya, the breadth of their ambitions, the richness of their tenders. The significance of what they offer is that they represent  the best ambassadors of Libya and the Libyans.

Many artists, artists and musicians from inside and outside Libya praised the works of the artist Maatouq Abouroui. This exhibition is one of the best images that reflect the real face of Libya and sends a message of peace, love, creativity and tolerance from a prestigious Libyan artistic figure, to Spain and all the world  countries.

Dr. Abdul Karim Kndar the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Media, University of Tripoli, praised the organization of this outstanding art exhibition, and expressed his deep appreciation to the efforts  of artist (Ma'touq Obaruwa), as well as his eagerness to deliver a great message of peace from the Libyan people, to anyone looking  to get to know Libya and the Libyans. He continued saying "After suffering the ignorance of the role of the arts in presenting Libya with its true and beautiful face to the world, Dr. Matouq Abouroui was able to declare his exhibition in Spain under the slogan (Memoirs of Peace from Libya to Granada), congratulations to all Libya for this important and distinct event . "
