Abstract
The current paper presents a commentary on a vocabulary lesson. The article tries to shed light on the repetition approach used in teaching vocabulary. It will comment on some potential benefits reaped from applying the repetition approach in the classroom. The paper will also mention some unconstructive issues. The researcher will discuss the repetition approach from teacher development perspective. The analysis will make language teachers aware of the importance of using repetition in teaching vocabulary. It will also try to broaden their understanding of the current approach.
