Abstract
Epilepsy is one of the most common neurological diseases globally, and disproportionately affects those in LMIC. Insufficient evidence is particularly in LMIC. Despite the variety of methods and defi nitions, data available consistently show that the prevalence reported in LMIC is underestimated and does not refl ect reality (74).
