Abstract
The brief was presented before the UNSC Ad Hoc Working Group through VTC on Wednesday November 30, 2022, at 3:00PM (EST New York) .My research is part of an on-going project for the International Centre for Dialogue Initiatives (ICDI) designed to assess international mediation and conflict resolution efforts. It discusses and analyses the UNSMIL attempts at resolving the conflict and evaluates them according to criteria that include ownership, inclusion, impartiality, accountability and legitimacy etc.
