Abstract
This study implemented the integration of optical (Landsat Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus (ETM+) and SPOT 5) and Synthetic Aperture Radar (ERS-2 SAR) C-band remote sensing data, and Digital Elevation Model (DEM) extracted from topographic maps (1:50,000) to improve the visual interpretation and discrimination of different lithological units and structural features in the Gharyan area of northwest Libya.
