Abstract
Poikilitic eudialyte outcrops in a strongly peralkaline phonolithic cumulo-dome in Jabal A1 Hasawinah, Libya. Textural relationships reveal that the eudialyte has formed at a very late stage of the rock petrogenesis. Electron microprobe analyses confirm its volatile (hydrous) nature and low REE content. K~VWOR~S: eudialyte, phonolite, Jabal AI Hasawinah, Libya.
