Overview

The objective of this course is to introduce the student to the importance of scientific research, methods and methods of searching for sources of information related to the subject of research in library and electronic information centers, and to write a research project (rules of scientific writing - writing references - results and discussion - recommendations)

Intended learning outcomes

The ability to choose the appropriate research topic-

Realizing the steps of scientific research and arranging its procedures-

The ability to describe, analyze and interpret the results of statistical data-

-Writing a research plan that includes its various components, taking into account the scientific considerations and rules followed

-Write a brief research report describing the different steps and stages involved in studying a problem in the field of biology

Understand the importance of using the scientific method in problem solving-

-Familiarity with different data collection tools and methods of using them, and the ability to choose from them what suits the subject and methodology of the research used
