Overview

This decision aims to:- Provide students with information on the ideal gases and real gases and familiarize themselves with the concept of changes in the article's cases.- Accommodate basic concepts of how to express concentration units of chemical solutions and the movement of chemical reactions.- Identifying students to understand chemical balance, acid and rules.- The student understands the meaning of dissolution and the balance of complex ions.

Intended learning outcomes

A. Knowledge and understanding

  1. Know the basic elements of the concept of gases and properties of matter
  2. Learn the properties of solutions and the movement of chemical reactions.
  3. Know and understand chemical equilibrium, acids and bases.
  4. Recognize the basic concepts of solubility and equilibrium of complex ions.

B. Mental skills

  1. The ability to apply mathematical laws and relationships for gases and states of matter.
  2. The ability to distinguish between units of concentration and the movement of chemical reactions
  3. Do all calculations related to chemical balance, acids and bases.
  4. The ability to explain the solubility of solutions and the equilibrium of complex ions.

C. Practical and professional skills

  1. Gain the skill of dealing with gases and changes in states of matter.
  2. He attaches importance to the knowledge gained about the properties of solutions and the movement of chemical reactions.
  3. Shows the general meaning of the concept of chemical equilibrium, acids and bases.
  4. Good understanding of the solubility of solutions and the equilibrium of complex ions.

Methods of assessments

The assessment strategy for the student in this course consists of three elements:

  • The first midterm exam (written), out of 25 marks.
  • The second midterm exam (written), out of 25 marks
  • Final exam (written), out of 50 marks
