Overview

This course:

  • Lists the various components of taking history.
  • Identifies the concepts of general examination.
  • Define various symptoms of respiratory system.
  • Describe the normal and abnormal clinical findings in respiratory examination.
  • Define various symptoms of cardiovascular system
  • Describe the normal and abnormal clinical findings in cardiovascular examination.

Intended learning outcomes

By the end of the course, the student will be able to: -

  • Understand the basic skill of taking history. -
  • Understand the principles of general examination. -
  • Acquire practical experience on how to record clinical history, and perform physical examination of the respiratory system and cardiovascular system.
