Knowledge & understanding

  • To familiarize the student with the basic components of the art of silk screen printing.
  • The student's knowledge of the operational steps of silk-screen printing.
  • Student understanding of the elements of artistic composition and how to use them in the art of silkscreen printing.
  • The student's knowledge and understanding of the importance of silk-screen printing and its characteristics that distinguish it from other printing arts.
  • The student's knowledge of technical problems and his understanding of how to address them.

  • The student should distinguish and compare the materials and tools used in silk screen printing, such as types of inks, detergents, and solvents, silk and its sizes, squiggles and types, squeegee, its shapes and lengths, and photosensitive material and its types.

  • The ability to evaluate and identify weaknesses and defects in the implementation steps.
