Overview

This course is designed to enhance the students' ability to deal with the concepts used in English language and upgrade their knowledge of English in an authentic context. It also teaches the language required for performing the language which are necessary for any kind of English language enquiry.

Intended learning outcomes

At the end of the course, students should be able to:

  1. Apply the knowledge of the four English language skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing.
  2. Learn the accurate pronunciation of the English words.
  3. Introduce different cultures by learning English language.
  4. Learn the basics of the English language.
  5. Learn the rules of the English language.
  6. Learn the oral and written expressions in English language.
  7. Communicate with English language speakers in English.
  8. Translate some words and texts.
