The natural and human
geography has an impact on the place and the population. The phenomena of the
natural environment such as location, topography, climate and human resources
constitute the general geographical framework of the state. Therefore, the
study of the course aims to introduce the student to the demographic structure
in Libya and its history, as well as to identify the colonial eras that took
place in our country and their most important causes and motives, in addition
to Study the factors influencing the distribution of the population, and to
familiarize themselves with the most important economic activities of the
population such as (agriculture - industry - trade - in addition to some
crafts) touching on knowing their importance to the national economy, and to
study some of the population problems facing our Libyan cities such as
unemployment and the inefficiency of some services in them
Intended learning outcomes
The student acquires
several skills, including the ability to link the natural and human factors
affecting the distribution of the population, as well as mastering some
statistical methods to measure population concentration and dispersion, which
makes the course more realistic, in addition to being able to analyze the importance
of the strategic location of Libya and the resources it abounds in, and its
relationship to the successive colonial eras on it. And to draw maps on which
the population density is distributed, in addition to writing articles dealing
with the most important human phenomena in Libya

It includes
scientific lectures, dialogue and group discussion, working papers, the use of
maps, and projectors. Scientific trips to identify some population problems
