This course deals with the steps that the student who is about to
graduate must take by training him on the steps of preparing a graduation
project, which represents a specific idea that provides a solution or service
to society in the geographical field. It also deals with the methods of using
the techniques that the student learned during his study period, as it is
considered a summary of these years. It also measures the student's
capabilities by finding solutions using one of the existing modern technologies.
This course aims to apply and implement the knowledge and skills
acquired by the student during his study of the specialized courses previous to
his project, by implementing an innovative idea within a work team, until the
completion of the project in its final form, provided that the subject of the
project is linked to community issues in all geographical and educational
fields related to geography.
Intended learning outcomes
Students will acquire knowledge and skills after
passing this course, represented in implementing practical procedures during
the implementation of the graduation project, relying on digital databases of
geographic information, mastering thinking, criticism and persuasion skills in
their dealings with others, and obtaining information and documents to complete
the project. In addition to positive participation in teamwork, taking
responsibility ably during the implementation of the project. And the use of
computer skills and modern technology such as digital maps, statistical tests
and other technologies

The graduation project course runs for two consecutive semesters, fall
and spring.
