Overview :

The environment is a web of complex interactions that occur between all components of the natural environment, from living organisms, which make up the so-called life bond ( human, animal, plant ) and the determination of regions and their geographical distribution، The aim of studying the geography of environments as a course adjacent to a person living in, from and around him, and by studying it a teacher is prepared who is able to draw the attention of students to this delicate and conservative component. This course addresses the following concepts: - ( Environment, Ecosystem, Environmental Balance, Geographical Location, Climate, Landscape, Human Environment, Territories, Agricultural Environment, Industrial Environment, Natural Environmental Hazards, Human Environmental Notifications .

Intended learning outcomes

Educational outputs :

Students will gain knowledge and skills after passing this course, which is to identify the environment in all its aspects and its impact on humans, and to distinguish the difference between the ecosystem and the environmental balance. They can also compare the characteristics of the natural environment, the characteristics of the human environment, and draw the geographical regions in a modern way ( GIS ) and explain the difference between the agricultural environment and the industrial environment، They can also infer the natural and human threats to the environment.

This course develops in the student the love of the environment, belonging to it and forming positive trends towards it

Teaching method :

Scientific lectures, group discussion, working papers, use of maps and educational aids such as solids and examples of rocks and soil types, projectors, scientific trips to different local environments if possible
