The course aims to identify the history and development of developmental psychology, the purpose and importance of studying it, the general laws and principles of growth, theories of growth and their relationship to the learning process, research methods in the study of human growth, the factors affecting growth, the stages of development, their characteristics and requirements.
Intended learning outcomes
- The student will be introduced to the following concepts (psychology - evolutionary psychology - theory - heredity and environment - stages of development - adolescence).- The student summarizes research methods in the study of human growth in a scientific manner.- The student explains the general laws of growth perfectly.- The student formulates a general perception of the positive qualities that the child acquires during the stages of development- The student deduces the requirements of the stages of human development in the light of his goals.The student applies one of the scientific research methods in the study of human growth.- The student searches for the role of the environment in growth through the stages of positive human development- The student uses the computer to search for the stages of human advancement and its manifestations.- The student draws a mental map explaining on it (the stages of human development - their characteristics - the positive qualities that the child acquires at this stage).
