Overview

The course aims to familiarize the student with the basic concepts in the field of educational evaluation, its importance, characteristics, types, how to build a table of specifications, knowledge of the concepts and scientific foundations of tests, their types, methods of preparation, defects and advantages, and their use in educational measurement and evaluation.

Intended learning outcomes

-The student should explain the relationship between measurement, evaluation and educational evaluation in a scientific manner.- That the student determines the appropriate scale according to the goal to be measured with complete accuracy.The student correctly explains the relationship of achievement tests with educational goals.- That the student explain the steps for building the table of specifications correctly.- The student should distinguish between self-assessment tools (questionnaires - observation tools - interview).- The student should design a model for achievement tests for a course in his field of specialization in accordance with the criteria of a good test.- That the student uses the conditions for formulating behavioral goals in formulating the behavioral goal.
