Overview

This course :

  • Discuss the normal structure and functions of DNA and RNA.
  • Discover the histological structure of connective tissue.
  • Discuss the histological structural of muscular tissue.
  • Discuss the histological structure of nervous tissue.
  • Discuss the histological structure of the skin, bone and cartilage.
  • Discuss the histological structure of circulatory, blood and hematopoiesis, Discover the histological characteristics of immune system and lymphoid organs.

Intended learning outcomes

By the end of the course, the students will be able to: -

  • Understand the basic structure and functions of genetic materials. -
  • Recognize the histological structure of the connective tissue and their microscopic structure -
  • Recognize the histological structure of the muscular tissue and their microscopic structure -
  • Recognize the histological structure of the central nervous system and their microscopic structure -
  • Recognize the histological structure of skin, bone , the cartilage, and their microscopic structure -
  • Recognize the histological structure of circulatory system, blood , the hematopoiesis and their microscopic structure -
  • Recognize the histological structure of immune system and lymphoid organs
