Overview

This course:

  • Describe the histology of nervous system tissues.
  • Recognize the histology of the digestive tract and it is organ.
  • Describe the structure of the respiratory system.
  • Describe the structure of the urinary system.
  • Describe the histology of male reproductive system.
  • Describe the histology of female reproductive systems
  • Identify the localization and the histological characteristics of endocrine system, and sense organs.

Intended learning outcomes

By the end of the course, the student will be to:

  • Understand the histological structure of the nervous system.
  • Identify the histological structure of the digestive tract and its organs.
  • Understand the histological structure of the respiratory and urinary system.
  • Understand the histological structure of male and female reproductive systems.
  • Understand the basic histological structure of the endocrine system and sense organs.
