Overview

Some grammar rules, nominal sentences (starters, predicates and comparing them, abrogatives), addition, numbers and specifiers, appositives, some dictation rules, dictionaries, scientific and literary styles and their application.

Intended learning outcomes

By the end of the course, the student should be able to
  • Distinguishing between the Arabic and the constructive from the speech and the original and secondary grammatical signs.
  • Administrative writing, such as writing all kinds of requests.
  • Using the provisions of writing the medium and extreme Hamza.
  • Discover ways to write different types of numbers and know the cases of distinguishing them.
  • Applying the most important conjunctions and conjunctions in some Arabic structures.

Teaching and learning methods

During the application, it is taken into account to direct students to write on the board and address common writing and reading errors and problems, as well as directing them to understand and express the ideas of texts

Methods of assessments

( Methods of evaluating students in this course: ( Mid-term 40% and final 60%)

  • Term work: divided between written midterm exams (30)
  • Duties and tasks ( 10)
  • Written final exam (30) The practical exam consists of dictating a piece from the pieces studied during the semester. Half of the final exam score (30) is given to them
