Overview

The course aims to introduce students to the concept of learning difficulties and the basic trends in the development of learning difficulties and the criteria used to judge the presence of learning difficulties.

Intended learning outcomes

For the student to know the concept of learning difficulties, for the student to enumerate the basic trends in the development of learning difficulties, for the student to compare the manifestations of developmental learning difficulties, for the student to conclude the characteristics of children with learning difficulties, for the student to employ the acquired knowledge in the treatment of learning difficulties.

Methods of assessments

Midterm exam. final exam. Continuous structural evaluation. Scientific activities "writing scientific research or making a presentation".

Language and speech disorders. Perception and movement difficulties. Difficulties in auditory perception. Difficulties in motor perception and general coordination. Theories explaining the causes of learning difficulties. Environmental variables that may contribute to learning difficulties or deepen the effectiveness of the causes that lead to learning difficulties. the reviewer: 1.
