Overview

The general objectives of the course in the form of outputs that the student is supposed to acquire after successful completion of the course are:

  • · The student is introduced to the concepts of integral equations, Fred Holm and Volterra equations, and the problem of initial and boundary values.
  • · The student discusses integral equations with different types of nuclei.
  • · The student demonstrates the solution of homogeneous integral equations and nonlinear integral equations and their applications.

A. Knowledge & (understand)

The basic information and key concepts that a student must acquire after successfully studying the course in the fields of knowledge and understanding are:

To familiarize the student with the basic concepts in integral equations and elementary value problems.

The student should explain the meaning of dissolved nuclei and repetitive nuclei.

To identify some theories in naturalized and nonlinear integral equations.

The mental skills that the student acquires on analysis after studying the course successfully, and the ability to think creatively, identify and solve problems are:

The student should discuss different problems on integral equations

The student should compare between dissolved nuclei and octagonal nuclei.

The student should use the Hilbert method and the Schmidt method to solve integral equations.
