Overview

The department aims, through offering a mathematical structures course, to provide students with basic mathematical concepts in the course, to define constants, variables, forms, and logical issues, or to enumerate groups and functions in an extensive way.

Intended learning outcomes

When the student passes the Mathematical Structures course, he will have realized the importance of studying mathematical logic in proving theorems, and he will be able to discuss with his classmates the effectiveness of the basic concepts in the course.

Teaching and learning methods

The traditional method (explanation of the topic). And discussing the students in solving the exercises and programs. And creating a spirit of competition among the students by solving the programs repeatedly.
