Overview

The student chooses a scientific topic (according to his specialization), submits it to the department as a proposal, and then conducts scientific research on the topic following the steps and methodology of the correct scientific research including problem identification, data collection, analysis, usefulness of the research, previous studies on the research topic, research results, recommendations, etc. The purpose of the graduation project is to train the student to conduct research in his/her field through the application of the concepts and principles he/she studied during the previous semesters in the faculty

Intended learning outcomes

By the end of the course, the student must be able to:

1- Identify the principles of writing scientific research

2- Learn how to collect, arrange, analyze and comment on the results of data

3- Identify the principles of dealing with scientific references.

4- Identify the origins of displaying, interpreting and clarifying scientific information and the use of information technology

5- Discuss the proposal of his scientific research project

6- Interpret and comment on the results of his scientific research

7- Explain, clarify and present the subject of his graduation project accurately and skillfully

8- Distinguish between scientific research methods and classify the scientific method he uses in his graduation project

9- Design a questionnaire or research tool used in a topic that horrifies his graduation

10- Give solutions to new, different and multiple problems through the topic of his graduation project

11- Use one of the curricula scientific research to address the subject of his graduation project

12- Apply the standards of scientific honesty in quoting references and at all stages of his research

Teaching and learning methods

1- Field visits.

2- Laboratory activities.

3- Case study.

4- Panel discussions and dialogue
