Overview

This course:

Discuss the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics processes. ب.1 Discuss the drugs acting on the autonomic nervous system and their uses. ب. 2 Discuss the mechanism of action of autacoids and related drugs. ب.3 Discuss the different classes and the pharmacological mechanism of diuretics and their uses ب.4 Discuss the mechanisms of cardiovascular system drugs.

Intended learning outcomes

By the end of the course, the student will be able to:

  • Understand the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of the drug.
  • Understand the pharmacological action of drugs acting on the autonomic nervous system.
  • Identify autacoids related drugs
  • Understand diuretics drugs and their uses
  • Understand the drugs acting on the cardiovascular system (CVS) and their applications in the treatment of different diseases
