Intended learning outcomes

By the end of the course the student will be able to:

  • Identify drugs used for musculoskeletal and their mechanism of action and their side effect.
  • Identify common drugs used in anesthesia.
  • Understand drugs used for the central nervous system and their mechanism of action and side effects.
  • Identify drugs used to treat blood and metabolic disorders.
  • Identify common drugs used for gastrointestinal system disease.
  • Understand the essential anticancer drugs.
  • To enable the student to identify common drugs used for respiratory disorders.
