Overview

This course:

  • Discuss the most common drugs used to treat the infection.
  • Discuss the drugs used to treat the common clinical diseases of the endocrine system. ب
  • Discuss the most common immunosuppressant drugs.
  • Discuss the most common chelating agents used to treat poisoning.
  • Discuss drug interactions and common adverse reactions of medicine and the role of pharmacogenetics in drug response variations.
  • Discuss the drugs used during pregnancy and lactation. ب6 Discuss the drugs used for the elderly and neonates.

Intended learning outcomes

By the end of the course, the student will be able:

  • Understand the common drugs used to treat infection. -
  • Understand the common drugs used to treat common diseases affect the endocrine system. -
  • Understand the most common immunosuppressant drugs and explain the mechanisms of drug interactions and describe the most common adverse reactions to medicine.
  • Understand the most common chelating agents used to treat poisoning.
  • Understand common drug interactions and common adverse reactions to medicine and explain the role of pharmacogenetics in drug response variations. -
  • Identify drugs used during pregnancy and lactation. -Understand common drugs used for elderly and neonates
