Overview

This course:

  • Discuss the pathogenesis and epidemiology, and consequences of the common diseases
  • Analyze the major cell and tissue alterations associated with these diseases and how they contribute to organ dysfunction
  • Discuss the etiology, pathogenesis of inflammation and repair response to tissue injury.
  • Analyze the various types of the hemodynamic disorder and its sequels.
  • Discuss the different neoplastic lesions, etiology, spread and prognosis.

Intended learning outcomes

By the end of the course, the student will be able to:

  • Understand the disease onset and pathogenesis
  • Understand the cell injury and inflammation and repair
  • Understand hemodynamic disorder.
  • Understand the tumors and their clinical feature
