It is a subject taught in the fourth semester, the total balance of teaching hours, four hours per week divided into two theoretical hours and two practical hours. The course introduces the student to how to compose, write, and formulate short stories, and how to analyze and translate them. A written text that explains the way sentences are formed in the Swahili language, how they are formulated, and the arrangement of literary and narrative ideas.

By the end of the 14th week, the student should be able to:
