Visit of the German Delegation  to the University of Tripoli

On Wednesday morning the President of the University of Tripoli, Prof. Dr. Nabeel Al-Natah, received   a delegation from the German Republic at the Presidency Office. The meeting was attended by Dr. Mabrouk Faris, Vice-President for academic affairs, Dr.Abdussalam Amara, manager of international  cooperation office, Dr.  Ahmed Gerghaba  from cooperation office  Dr. Najeeb Al-Marzouki, the Representative of Tripoli University at the German  Scholarship Corporation and  Mr. Ehab  Al-Futtaisi, from the Office of International Cooperation. During the meeting the mechanism of cooperation between the University of Tripoli and the German universities in several fields were discussed,  to support Libyan universities and to establish educational programs in Libya as well as the issue of  activating Department of German language at the Faculty of Languages at Tripoli  University along with German universities the granting scholarships for faculty members and students of Libyan universities and to assist in developing  the educational process in Libya.

At the end of this meeting, the German delegation confirmed the allocation of a large part of the 2018 grants provided by the German side to Libya.
