Overview

1. To develop the student's ability to deal with computer applications and the Internet.2. The student should familiarize himself with this through the ready-made Word Processing programs.3. The student should familiarize himself with different types of PowerPoint presentation programs to achieve the objective of the course.4. To develop some abilities among students, such as writing research papers and including references and footnotes in a digital and automated way.5. To develop some abilities among students, such as using the Internet in specialization and scientific research

Intended learning outcomes

a- . Knowledge and understanding 1. The student should study the general and theoretical framework and the various functions of this type of program and deal with the Internet 2. The student should become acquainted with the electronic design methods for magazines and newspapers. Dealing with Internet services that are useful in the specialization. General Skills 1- To acquire and develop the student's abilities, to deal with the computer, and to use specialized programs that may benefit from them later. 2 - To develop students' abilities to deal with society after graduation, and to benefit from modern applications that they are familiar with.T. Professional skills1- Students acquire the skills of electronic design for newspapers and magazines.2 - To develop students' applied and practical skills by using this type of program specialized in journalistic editing.

Teaching and learning methods

The scientific lessons of the computer applications curriculum are provided by giving theoretical lessons and presentations of the basics and definitions necessary for computer applications, then the practical part is gradually moved to the conduct and practical application of all tasks and skills necessary to run computer applications.

Methods of assessments

Students are evaluated by conducting a written midterm exam (40%) in addition to a final exam (60%).
