Overview

Expanding the study of human resources for being a wealth that must be preserved and developed through knowledge of population trends, distribution, labor cost, productivity, raising its efficiency, unemployment, and migration phenomena, then paying attention to manpower planning in Libya.

Intended learning outcomes

First: Knowledge and Understanding:1- The student should know in general the concept of human resources.2- The student should know the population trends and distribution.3- That the student understands the population problem.Second: Scientific and Professional Skills:1- That the student links between study and application.2- The student should distinguish between human and economic resources.3- The student should use the knowledge he has acquired in identifying unemployment and the means of treating it.Third: Practical and professional skills:1- Enhancing the student's ability to use what he studied in professional applications.2- The ability to understand and research human resource economics books and extract useful information from them.3- The ability to understand and research human resource economics books and extract useful information from them.

Teaching and learning methods

1. The course is presented by way of explanation through giving lectures.2. Panel discussions during which some exercises are analyzed to apply the studied rules.

Methods of assessments

Midterm exam 40%, final exam 60%.
