Summarized course

This course aims to help children gain awareness and sense of the components of the environment in which they live and associated problems, and children acquire positive values and trends towards environmental protection and development with a view to preparing an environmentally conscious and knowledgeable generation through educational opportunities for children to acquire diverse experiences and a basic understanding of the environment in which they live, their problems and active participation

Intended learning outcomes

At the end of the course, the student must be able to:

A- Knowledge & understand

a. 1Learn about environmental concepts and types directed at kindergarten children

a. 2Distinguish between key environmental concepts and sub-concepts in the content of educational experience.

a. 3Clarify the content of programs and environmental activities for kindergarten children

a. 4Identify the role of the kindergarten teacher in achieving environmental education at kindergarten level

a. 5 Use a number of methods of evaluating environmental education in kindergartens

b. 1Explain the content of environmental programs for kindergarten children.

b. 2Propose various environmental concepts for the kindergarten child.

b. 3Analyse the content of programs and environmental activities for kindergarten children
