Celebration of the 47th anniversary of the beginning of the postgraduate program at the University of Tripoli

On Tuesday morning, May 8th, in the auditorium of Rasheed Kaabar University of Tripoli, a ceremony was held on the occasion of the forty-seventh anniversary of the beginning of the graduate program at the Department of Education and Psychology.

This celebration comes within the celebrations of the University of Tripoli in commemoration of its 60th anniversary.

The first postgraduate programs in the Department of Education and Psychology at the national level started in December 1971.

It’s worth mentioning that Tripoli University is a pioneer  in this field. It is considered the third among  the Arab world to established a  postgraduate program after Egypt, Iraq Tripoli university is considered the fourth university after the universities of Ain Shams and Alexandria in Egypt and the University of Baghdad in Iraq.

The celebration was organized by the Department of Education and Psychology at the Faculty of Arts in joint-cooperation with the Libyan Association for Educational and Psychological Studies.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Al-Mabrouk Faris, deputy of the president for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Khaled Nasr, Director of the Department of Graduate Studies, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Mokhtar Al-Amari, and a group of faculty members. At the end of the ceremony, the faculty members, who were credited with establishing the university's graduate studies department, were honored.
