This course aims to study Evolution of Taxonomy of nematodes, methods of
classification and definition of nematodes, free living nematodes, phytopathogenic nematodes,
group Dorylimida and its genera, group Tylenchida and its genera
Intended learning outcomes
Shows the development of the history of
classification and division of nematodes in the past and inventory.
• Identifies the most important
scientists who contributed to the development of the science of dividing
nematodes.
• Employ the methods used to classify
nematodes (phenotype, physiology, molecular genetics).
• Distinguish the use of keys to divide
the different groups of nematodes at the level of different divisions.
• Uses taxonomic keys for some groups
(species and species) of plant pathogenic nematodes.
• Identifies the most important groups
of nematodes, especially groups that include plant pathogenic nematodes.
