  1. Understanding of the immune system including organs, cells and receptors.
  2. Learn structure and functions of immunoglobulin classes, the genetic basis of antibody diversity, and the importance of humoral, cell-mediated and innate immune responses in combating pathogens.
  3. Get acquainted with the importance of antigen antibody interaction in disease diagnosis.
  4. Understand the fundamentals of tolerance, autoimmunity and the role of immunity in protection against disease.
