Overview

This course is presented to the student in marine and offshore engineering to apply scientific n of heat transfer for the purpose of knowing how the heat is transferred and how to solve the problems of different methods of heat transfer.

Intended learning outcomes

• By the end of week 12, the student should be able to:

1- Methods of heat transfer

2- Solve the problems of different methods of heat transfer in different engineering shapes

3- Heat transfer through heat exchangers

Teaching and learning methods

By using lectures using you tube and writing reports about the subject and ask the students to give presentations.

Methods of assessments

The evaluation strategy for the student in this course consists of

1- The midterm exam 30 marks

2- 10 marks for the reports and presentation

3- Final exam 60marks
