Overview

This course is presented to the student in marine and offshore engineering to apply scientific information about mechanical vibration, such as causes of vibration and first and second degree of freedom.

Intended learning outcomes

  • By the end of week 12, the student should be able to:
  • Define the vibration, types of vibration The student can
  • Write report about vibration and give presentation
  • The student he can understand what is the cause of vibration and he can solve problems regarding.

Teaching and learning methods

By using lectures, you tube and writing reports about the subject and ask the students to give presentations and visit.

Methods of assessments

The evaluation strategy for the student in this course consists of

1- The midterm exam 30 marks

2- 10 marks for the reports and presentation

3- Final exam 60marks
