Overview

The program graduates highly qualified graduate students in the field of veterinary medicine, specializing in pathology and laboratory diagnosis.Increasing the ability of veterinarians to conduct scientific research, writing and translating biochemical changes within the body, including levels of enzymes, hormones, electrolytes and minerals due to various diseases.Preparing veterinarians and qualifying them for scientific research and conducting accurate biochemical studies to obtain an accurate diagnosis of diseases.Graduating veterinarians who are able to enter the field of disease diagnostic laboratories and diagnose diseases based on analyzing the level of chemical changes inside the body in laboratories.

Intended learning outcomes

1. That the student be able to identify the diagnosis of diseases based on the level of enzymes, hormones, electrolytes, minerals and vital changes within the body. .

2. The student should familiarize himself with conducting chemical analyzes and sampling in the correct ways, in order to be able to conduct various laboratory tests.

3. That the student recognize the recording of micro-chemical changes in order to obtain a diagnosis of diseases.

4. The student should know the nature of diseases and the mechanism of their occurrence and development, along with writing the biochemical changes inside the body in the scientific diagnostic reports.

5. That the student be able to describe the minute biochemical changes that occurred in the different organs within the body.

6. The student should be able to write notes on biochemical changes and laboratory test results.

7. The student should be able to interpret and analyze the laboratory results in order to reach an accurate diagnosis of the disease.

8. That the student be able to develop a mechanism for the occurrence of the disease and its diagnosis.

Teaching and learning methods

1. Lectures using a PowerPoint presentation, including pictures and video clips.

2. Laboratory exercises (practical training in which the student is trained on various devices).

3. Panel discussions
