Overview

Graduating highly qualified graduate students in the field of veterinary medicine, specializing in pathology and laboratory diagnosis.Increasing the ability of veterinarians to conduct scientific research, write and translate scientific results related to pathology and laboratory diagnosis.Preparing veterinarians and qualifying them for scientific research, conducting laboratory studies, and reaching an accurate diagnosis of diseases.Graduating veterinarians who are able to enter the field of disease diagnostic laboratories and pharmaceutical companies.

Intended learning outcomes

That the student be able to learn the principle of basic veterinary pathology

To familiarize the student with how to dissect the different body systems and collect appropriate samples.

To familiarize the student with how to describe the pest and write diagnostic scientific reports.

To familiarize the student with the different methods of diagnosing diseases.

That the student be able to describe pathological changes in the various organs and tissues and diagnose some common diseases of the digestive and respiratory systems, nervous system diseases, urinary system diseases, and common skin diseases

That the student be able to write anatomical reports.

That the student be able to interpret the ocular changes in the tissues and link them to the diagnosis of the disease.

That the student be able to put the mechanism of occurrence of diseases and its diagnosis.

Teaching and learning methods

1. Lectures using a PowerPoint presentation, including pictures and video clips.

2. Laboratory exercises (practical training in which the student is trained on various devices).
