Overview
This course helps the student at the Faculty of nursing acquire knowledge on
English language which they can use and to use English for specific purpose
which is (Nursing).
Intended learning outcomes
Knowledge and understanding:
1.
This course aims to train the students in four
skills of understanding: listening & speaking, writing and reading so they
will be able to use English beside developing their knowledge in medical
English for nursing.
Scientific and professional
skills:
1.
Demonstrate properly English grammar by writing
formal and informal letter, sending electronic mails and speaking appropriate
English in hospital with patients and colleagues.
General skills
1.
Demonstrate ability to speak fluently in English
by using medical terminologies.

1- Lectures.

Methods of assessments

test 10% ,Midterm exam 20%.
