Overview

This course defines the basic concepts and principles of investment planning and evaluation, while identifying the types of investments and distinguishing between them. In addition to the ability to understand investment aspects and their contribution to economic development.

Intended learning outcomes

a. Knowledge and understanding : Introduce the student to the basic concepts of investment planning and evaluation. Introducing the student to investment objectives, the factors influencing it, and how to choose and manage it. Introducing students to types and their importance in economic development. Introducing students to the role of management in managing and evaluating investments and developing successful plans. Introducing the student to the importance of feasibility studies and the extent of their contribution to the selection of feasible investments.

B- Mental skills: Develop the student's ability to identify the basic concepts of investment planning and evaluation. The student will master how to compare the types of investments and how to choose them. To develop in the student the ability to draw conclusions and express opinions and recommendations that would increase the efficiency of plans and provide assistance to the administration. To develop in the student the ability to manage and evaluate investments, choose the best ones, and know their advantages and disadvantages.

C- Scientific and professional skills: That the student understand the basic concepts of investment planning and evaluation That the student use the knowledge gained in the ability to draw conclusions and provide proposals and solutions to management. That the student understand the investment objectives and the purpose of their evaluation and the different types in order to determine the preference of them. The ability to diagnose planning problems for economic projects The ability to deal with the internal and external business environment of organizations

D- General Skills: Giving the student skills represented in dealing with his superiors and colleagues at work, communicating with them, and communicating his suggestions and point of view. Developing the student's ability to persuade and defend his point of view in a scientific manner based on facts and evidence. Developing the student's problem-solving skills and enabling him to keep up to date with what is new in this subject. Developing the student's ability and skill in writing research, preparing it, and participating in studies related to investment planning and evaluation.
