Overview

This course helps the student at the Faculty of nursing to acquire knowledge on the four skills of understanding, speaking, writing, and reading, demonstrate communication skills and recognize the importance of English language in medical profession.

Intended learning outcomes

Knowledge and understanding:

1. Understand the importance of speaking with correct grammar English.

2. Use simple correct grammar in oral and written conversation.

Scientific and professional skills:

1. Use correct medical terms of nursing in communication.

2. Write a paragraph by using correct spelling, grammar and punctuation marks.

General skills:

1. Demonstrate ability to speak, read, and write correct, English paragraphs.

2. Develop the ability to communicante in English in the Field of Nursing.
