Type

Compulsory

Credits

03

Prerequisite

MM105

Overview

Preparing the student to deal with equations that contain differentials and his knowledge of the different types of ordinary differential equations, as well as distinguishing between the types of ordinary differential equations and preliminary methods of solving ordinary differential equations and deducing the geometric interpretation of the meaning of the differential equation by practicing the learning skills in the study of the Laplace transform

Intended learning outcomes

Learn about the nature of ordinary differential equations, interpret ordinary differential equations geometrically, understand ways to solve ordinary differential equations, and differentiate between their types. Define Laplace transforms.

Teaching and learning methods

Lectures by following the method of recitation and guidance of the course vocabulary, following the method of involving everyone as a group work to solve the issue of differential equations, A study of a differential equation by collecting information about it, the practical application of solving some equations

Methods of assessments

Written test (for example, multiple-choice {closed book} or written closed-question test {open book}) with a score of 40% and a final written exam with a score of 60%
