The student is introduced to the
principles of residential interior design with hygienic, functional and
aesthetic specifications. Training on how to master drawing sizes and
calculating spaces, identifying functional spaces through horizontal
projections, training in the correct use of engineering tools, the use of
engineering scale and the process of reducing and enlarging the size of a
drawing.
Intended learning outcomes
That the student be acquainted with
the components of the basic architectural plans for interior design -
horizontal plans - site plans - facades - sections - interior perspectives and
three-dimensional figures -
The student is acquainted with the
initial elements of design and the basics of surface organization. The student
also learns the important role of interior spaces and the impact of interior
design on the user, as the modern man spends most of his time indoors.
And the student gets acquainted with
the principles of residential interior design with hygienic, functional and
aesthetic specifications.
And the student distinguishes contemporary
methods in designing projects for engineering offices, in addition to refining
the design skills of the students
Teaching and learning methods
Theoretical as well as practical
lectures for drawing horizontal projections and making models for buildings
Methods of assessments
Evaluation is done through a
theoretical exam with a relative weight of 30% and a final exam of 30%, in addition to 40%
for the evaluation of a
mini-practical project that will be implemented during the semester
