Overview

Definitions of the basics and terminology of food safety, the importance of food safety, ways to deal with the manufacture and storage of food through methods that prevent foodborne disease diseases, and knowledge of the basic standards of food hygiene and foodborne diseases

Intended learning outcomes

If the student successfully completes the course he will be able to, know the concepts and terminology of food safety and explain the danger materials and type of food contamination and how to avoid it gives examples of how to assess risks and applies the use of detection devices to food safety ,writing scientific reports related to food safety.
