Overview

Studying the growth and development of the child in all physical, psychological, mental, social and emotional aspects, through studying the early, middle and late childhood stages, knowing the general laws of growth and growth influences, studying the natural observations on the stages of growth in early and middle childhood

Intended learning outcomes

If the student successfully completes the course, he will be able to

Recognize the importance of growth and the characteristics and foundations of child development

Identifying the development of the child in the Holy Quran and the honourable Sunnah.

Compare aspects of growth and knowledge of the basic needs of the child: (physical, mental, emotional, social, linguistic, motor, sensory, and religious growth).

Elicits developmental demands in infancy.

It explains the theories that explain the growth process: (theories of maturity, theories of psychological and social growth, theories of cognitive growth, theories of linguistic growth, theories of moral growth).
