Identifying the general methods of spinning
and distinguishing between natural and industrial spinning. The Mafrar also
aims to define and classify the various stitches of weaving such as plain,
Atlantic, velor and terry cloth, and how the characteristics of each stitch
differ. Study the types of threads designated for different stitches and
pre-weave preparation processes, including carding, opening and laying, in
addition to studying the types of threads. devoted to weaving and knitting

Laboratory projects
The student practices laboratory tests to
identify the method of angling the threads, whether clockwise or
counterclockwise, and the advantage of each type, and stands in the laboratory
on the clear differences between the numbering of the threads and the purpose
for each numbering
Intended learning outcomes
By the end of the course, the student will be able to understand the
different stitches of the fabric and distinguish between them, and be able to
verify the type of fabric and the threads used in it, and check the numbering
of the threads used.
